EVENT INFORMATION

Birds of Tokyo have cemented their place as Australia’s most successful contemporary rock band.

They’ve captured the hearts of music fans with six studio albums and anthems like ‘Good Lord’, ‘Plans’ and 'Lanterns'.

They’ve toured with icons like Bon Jovi and Cold Chisel, headlined major festivals and played events like the F1 Grand Prix, AFL Grand Final and the NRL State Of Origin. One of Triple J’s three most played artists of this millennium, Birds of Tokyo are also the only artist in history to win the APRA Award for “Most Performed Rock/Alternative Work” six times but it's their concerts that set them apart – with explosive energy and spine-tingling moments of intimacy.

In recent years the band has toured across Australia twice, collaborating with the country’s most prestigious Symphony Orchestras including their 2023 Birdsongs tour which drew unanimous critical acclaim and saw them sell out three nights each at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne’s Hamer Hall.

Most recently, Birds of Tokyo dropped a rollicking new single called “Heartbreakers Bar” and headlined a tour of the same name..

Presented by Great Southern Nights, the band will perform at Anita’s Theatre for one night only on Saturday 22nd March.
