GETTING HERE

Anita’s Theatre is the most historic and largest performing arts venue of the Illawarra region, in the idyllic location of Thirroul, New South Wales. Anita’s Theatre has a seating capacity of 824 and standing capacity of 1,200.

Originally known as King’s Theatre, the venue has enjoyed a rich history, operating at times, as a movie cinema, a roller-skating rink and a space for live entertainment. Anita’s Theatre continues its legacy, hosting world class international and domestic live entertainment, comedy acts, the performing arts and more.

Getting Here

TRAIN

Thirroul Station is 600m from Anita's Theatre and an 8 min stroll to the venue.

There are many bus stops located in Thirroul, most are a minute walk away from the venue.

DRIVING & PARKING

There is on street parking situated around the venue, King St and Railway Road are only a short walking distance.

We recommend allowing enough time before the show starts to secure parking in the surrounding streets.

Please note, there is only parking on site at Anita's Theatre for patrons with accessible requirements. The accessible parking is located at the back of the theatre, entrance is via King St.
