EVENT INFORMATION

Next On: Robbie Mortimer – Live at Anita’s Theatre (The Kings Room)

Robbie Mortimer is one of Australia’s fastest-rising country rock artists and he’s bringing heart, hooks and high-energy storytelling to Next On at Anita’s Theatre (The Kings Room).

Raised on a farm in country NSW as the son of Rugby League great Peter Mortimer, Robbie’s music is grounded in authenticity, blending traditional country roots with a modern rock edge. His songs reflect real-life experiences, delivered with the warmth and charisma of a natural storyteller.

His breakout singles “Blow The Speakers” and “You Got That Love” have cemented his reputation as a writer of infectious anthems, both charting in the CountryTown Top 50. “You Got That Love” reached #1 on CMT and was a Global Top 10 finalist for Music Video of the Year at the Unsigned Only Awards, while “Blow The Speakers” and “Wrecked My Plans” both hit #1 on Tamworth’s 88.9 iHeart Radio.

Robbie’s momentum continues to build. In 2025 alone, he amassed more than 4.4 million streams, 8 million Instagram reel views and a social following of over 56,000 fans. On stage, he’s just as impressive, performing at major festivals including CMC Rocks, Groundwater, Meatstock and Gympie Music Muster, and earning “Entertainer of the Year” on the 2023/2024 PBR Tour.

He's also supported iconic acts such as The Beach Boys, The Temptations, INXS/Noiseworks, Thirsty Merc and Eskimo Joe, show-casing broad cross-generational appeal.
