Adventure Reels Film Tour is Back by Popular Demand This October
Presented by Adventure Reels in partnership with The North Face, Australia's only homegrown and home-run adventure film tour returns this October after an incredibly successful debut. Back by popular demand for its second year, the Adventure Reels Film Tour will visit more than 25 cinemas across Australia with a spectacular collection of the world's most inspiring adventure films, celebrating human courage, outdoor obsession and unforgettable journeys.
Curated by the team behind Australia's iconic Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, the Adventure Reels Tour showcases an exhilarating collection of films celebrating downhill mountain biking, highlining, whitewater kayaking, skiing, BASE jumping, speed trail running and extraordinary adventures from around the globe.
“The response to our inaugural tour exceeded every expectation,” says Jemima Robinson, Founder and Director of Adventure Reels. “Audiences weren't just coming to watch films—they were connecting with like-minded people, discovering new adventures and leaving inspired to get outside themselves. We're thrilled to bring Adventure Reels back even bigger for year two.”
The 2026 program features breathtaking stories from some of the world's most remote and spectacular locations. From soaring through the skies paragliding and charging down world-class mountain bike trails, to remote wilderness expeditions, untamed snowy mountains and remarkable stories of resilience, every film has been selected to inspire audiences long after the credits roll.
But the Adventure Reels Tour is much more than a night at the movies. Every screening transforms the cinema foyer into a vibrant adventure hub where guests can meet local outdoor clubs, adventure organisations and retailers, discover new activities, connect with fellow adventurers and enjoy interactive games, competitions and giveaways before the films begin.
Audiences can test their skills, take part in fun challenges, win fantastic prizes and speak with local adventure organisations about getting involved in everything from mountain biking and trail running to hiking, paddling and outdoor recreation.
